Wooden Training Knives

An example of some wooden training weapons. These were carved to match the size and shape of the Benchmade 710 Axis-lock folding knife, including the pocket clip! The wood is all highly figured colobolo, hand polished to 1500 grit. Cocobolo is dense and hard, and doesn't splinter easily. These make beautiful and strong wooden trainers.

More wooden training weapons. The one on the right was carved to match the knife shape favored by Michael Pick, a reknowned expert in American Kenpo Karate knife fighting. The other two are more traditional tanto shaped. The wood is all highly figured colobolo, hand polished to 1500 grit. Cocobolo is dense and hard, and doesn't splinter easily. These make beautiful and strong wooden trainers.
